Mustang Outfitters Hunter's Choice Numbers for 2002 Seasons (click here) 2002 Big Game Application Deadline The Nevada Division of Wildlife has announced that this year’s big game tag application deadline has been set for 5 p.m. on Monday, April 21st. Hunters must have their applications to the Wildlife Administrative Services Office in Fallon by that time in order to be eligible for this year’s big game tag drawings. The on-line credit card application will be available March 18 from the Wildlife Administrative Services Office website The benefit of the on-line application is that all applications are checked for accuracy, and tag fees will not be subtracted from credit cards unless successful in drawing a tag. As usual, residents will need to purchase hunting licenses prior to applying, whether on paper or on-line. In addition, any non-resident born after Jan. 1, 1960 who has not previously applied through the Nevada Hunt system will need to apply on paper in order to submit proof of hunter education. On-line applications will also have to be submitted before 5 p.m. on April 21. Additional information that will assist hunters in applying for tags, including harvest statistics and last year’s draw odds, will be posted to the Division of Wildlife’s website at www.nevadadivisionofwildlife.org. Hunters who apply for tags will be notified of the draw results by June 20. Those results will be posted to the "Hunt Nevada" website by Wildlife Administrative Services. |
