LodgingCampsLodging is included in all hunts unless specifically noted otherwise. On Mt. Lion/Cougar hunts we will normally put you up at our ranch or a motel. Occasionally, we may camp out of travel trailers or heated wall tents. Summer Trips normally will be out of wall tents or nylon tents. Horseback hunts are out of our Base Camps consisting of heated wall tents with cots, canvas outhouse, solar shower and a cook in camp to cook you great, hardy meals. Non-horseback hunts can be out of our ranch, motel or travel trailer. We pride ourselves in providing you with a 1st rate camp with just as many ‘luxuries’ as possible. Just keep in mind in the Wilderness Area camps that everything must be packed in and out by horseback only. These are rugged and remote camps and most are about a 3-4 hour ride each way. We consider your travel time to camp to be part of your hunt days. We welcome you bringing a guest on your hunt at a maximum fee of $150 per day/per person. Drop CampsWe are now offering 2 kinds of drop camps, a Regular Drop Camp or a Deluxe Drop Camp. Regular Drop Camp - $1500 per person or Deluxe Drop Camp - $2000 per person if you use our cook, for up to one week stay. There is a 2-person minimum which includes 1 packhorse per person going in. We pack you, your food and personal gear into one of our preset camps. We provide the tents, cots, cooking utensils, paper plates & cups, cook stove, lantern & propane, etc. Maximum stay is 1 week. There is a chance you could be in camp with other hunters if you have a small group, but no more than 8 hunters in camp. At the end of your stay, we come back and pack you and your deer back out of camp. |
